My sweeties birthday

Happy Birthday to my sweetie!

This is a little late but for some reason we have been really busy lately. But I know Scott doesn't mind because he nevers reads this. We had a nice relaxing day with cake and ice cream after dinner. It was just what he wanted.

What do you use?

Cleaning. We all have to do it. The gross, the nasty, the not so bad. But what do you use to get the nasties off? I've been using Comet, Softscrub and Scrubbing Bubbles (one id great on shower walls) but it's just not making the cut. I have rings in the bottom of my sink that I want gone. The toilet as well and the tub come to think of it. I want it clean and beautiful like when it was new. I think this has a little bit to do with the 'nesting' issues I'm having but I think it's all to my advantage. A clean house is a happy house! If you have any miracle cleaners that don't cost a fortune PLEASE let me know, I would love to clean some more.

Roberts Look-alike Meter

Here we have it. Scott and I have said it all along but I guess this now confirms that Max looks like us. Go figure, we are his parents! But, I have to say that I ran it twice (Scott didn't like his first pic) and Max looked more like me that time. Only 17% but it was still fun to say, Ha he does look like me! Try it, it's fun! And who better to say who your kids look like than some random website! :)
Have a ball!!

My baby...

Will be here in 97 days. That's down to double digits! Yea! Did I mention how excited I am for this little bundle to be here? So excited!! I have finally gotten over the shock that I am pregnant, mostly. The fact that I didn't have to take my temperature for a month, give myself shots and other random things that I've had to do is still a mystery to me. I guess that we really do have to be patient about things, especially the ones that you know are going to happen and Heavenly Father will bless you. So, any of you waiting on those blessings, whatever they may be, just wait a little longer and they will come, I'm sure of it. He doesn't forget us. Miracles really do happen!
(Thanks for reading the ramblings of a hormonal pregnant woman ;))

HE DID IT!!

Scott has been studying for several tests for the last 4 months and he passed his final and most difficult test yesterday. Not only did he pass but he aced it! It's amazing what our husbands do to support our families. He was so diligent in his studies and I am so thankful for all he does for us. Now the fun begins, the new job. He will be a financial advisor. It should be good and what we've been looking for, we hope. Wish us luck!

I forgot to mention....

The treacherous driveway. I'm not sure that there was anyone who didn't fall down on the driveway, including my big ol' pregnant self. Luckily we all had plenty of cushion to fall on! Here is a clip of Max and his cousin Tag playing on it. (Mostly playing)

Sledding in the hills

We were able to go to Uncle Brent and Aunt Lynette's house for some super fun sledding. We started out with the dogs pulling the boys, which they loved. Then the 4 wheeler pulling them, still fun but not the best. Then we headed up the hill and the real fun began. We couldn't get Max to come inside. He was to tired to walk up the hill and they had taken the 4 wheeler back to the house so he would just stand there and yell to Dad to carry him back up. It was pretty cute. When we finally got him to come in we ate some yummy potatoe soup and drank some toasty hot chocolate. It was lots of fun and we hope to go back soon to do it again.

It finally snowed...

And we were even able to get out and play before it melted! Here are some clips and pics of us playing in the snow. Some days it's great to have dogs!

Time for snow angels

Scott was pretty tired after all this running. But, it's good for him!

Christmas time is here again...

We were able to spend Christmas Eve at Scott's parents house. We had lots of fun playing games and eating way to much food. But once it was time to go Max was really cute. We got in the car and he said we had to go home and go straight to bed. No cuddle time, no scriptures, no prayers just bed so that Santa would come. We told him that we would still have scriptures and prayers and we had to leave out cookies and milk and then he could go to bed. He was so excited, we loved every minute of it.

(Milk and cookies)

Then on Christmas morning he was up bright and early at 6:15! This is the first year we didn't have to wake him up so it made it even more fun. We saw that Santa had some cookies and he drank his milk and Max was so happy. Then it was present opening time. He got lots of Cars and of course, a gun. It was a fun and wonderful time.

(THE pistol)

After breakfast we took a nap and then headed over to my Mom's house for more food and fun. It turned out to be a really great day. I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas with your families.

He also got this Davy Crockett hat and moccasins.

Scott thought it would be fun to take a picture of the ever expanding belly. Not bad for 6 months.

Christmas Program

I know it's been ages since I last posted so I have alot to catch up on. Here we go...

First things first, Max's Christmas program at pre-school. Each year they have two programs, Christmas and Graduation. Max was really great this year. He sang SO loud and only needed a hint for his part. His part was "Chop went the ax, down went the tree and away she went with a happy family". He always add libs a bit so it was "a great big happy family". I think he was a little distracted by the paper ax that he got to hold. Such a cute boy. Sarah, my sister, said that Max is "That kid". You all know the kid she means, the one who is singing at the top of lungs and everyone points and giggles at. Yep, that's my boy! His teacher was very appreciative of the singing so it all worked out. Here are some pics of the program.
