I had all these pictures that I wanted to share. No real story just our cute little kiddos.
These are the many faces of Alaina....

Crazy Weekend

We had a crazy but fun weekend. We had my sisters two boys on Friday and Saturday, a baby shower and a birthday party. It was a lot more fun than I thought it would be. The boys were great and they kept each other very busy. We were all really tired by Saturday night but it was a 'happy' tired.

This is Friday night. Because we had been good not watching TV all week we had Friday fun night. We watched Underdog and made popcorn and milkshakes. The boys were in their sleeping bags and PJ's for a slumber party, boy stlye! It was really fun!

This is lunch on Saturday. They spent most of the time swimming or playing board games. Yep, they played games. No TV!! We also made a trip to get pig food which may have been the highlight of the weekend. They loved to watch the big truck dump the food into our containers.

Say what?

Our Stake Presidency has sent out a challenge to our stake to go without TV, computer games, video games and such for 4 weeks. Yep, you read it, 4 WEEKS! Can you believe it?!? The point is to read more and spend more time together as a family. Today is day two and we're alright. Going through withdrawals but I keep telling myself that it will be worth it and we will be blessed for accepting the challenge. Right? RIGHT! Today is easy so far, Max has slept all day. But it's tough to entertain a 5 year old all day without a break, for either of us. Let me know if you have any ideas of things to keep Max occupied. Free things:) I'll keep you posted on how it goes.
I obviously have not included the computer for blogging, it's journaling right? Right! Yeah right!

NOT AGAIN......

Poor Max, he got another bee sting. It's been just under two weeks. This one is even worse. He wasn't able to get the stinger out this time and then fought us to get it out. It took about 10 minutes to get it out. Then add the fact that he was screaming and had his blood pumping pretty good. I could see the bee poison, venom, whatever you want to call it, I could see it moving through his veins. His little foot is HUGE today. It's not only swollen on bottom but on top too. He's full of Benydryl and has been asleep now for 4 hours! Yep, 4 hours. And yes, I have checked to make sure he's breathing, often. How do you know when to many stings IS to many? Whoever said that there's a shortage of bees hasn't been to our backyard.....! Stinkin' bees!

4th of July

We had a great 4th of July. We spent the weekend with family having lots of fun. Uncle Craig came over on Thursday night and of course he brought his Wii. The 'boys' stayed up super late playing that. Max was so excited that he woke up just before 8 am to get in some more play time. Crazy kid! Later on we celebrated at my Mom's house. We swam and ate and ate and ate! The food was great and the company was good too. We played a game and then headed over here to our house to do some fireworks. It was fun but we were spent by the end of the day. We all slept great! On Saturday Scott, Max, Alaina, Mom and I all went to see Kung Fu Panda. It was so cute. We plan on seeing it again at the $1 theatre. I recommend it if you haven't seen it yet. We had a great weekend and got in family time which is even better. Hope you all had fun too!

Alaina

I borrowed Sarah's camera to try to take some pics of Alaina. She wasn't to happy about it but we got a few cute ones.
Look how serious she is. She really is a serious little baby....
A little smile...
Showin' some rolls......
The blessing dress, it's a beauty.

Bee stings all around

Last week was apparently the week for bee stings. My sister Carrie was stung on Monday, Max on Tuesday and then my sister Becki, for the first time in her life, was also stung. Here are some pictures of what Max and Carrie's feet looked like.

This was Max's foot the first day. It doesn't look to bad and I started to doubt it was a bee. He was way out in our backyard when it happened so I had no idea what it was. He ran in and told me something bit him and that he pulled out the black part. (What a great kid, he knew just what to do.) But, by the second day.....

......his little foot was HUGE!
Look at those little sausages. His foot ran straight into his shin, no ankle. He couldn't fit his foot into his sandals, it was crazy. He was great though, healed up really fast. He's a tough one!
Then there was Carrie's..... It's still not healed yet. Her foot looks like when she's 9 months preggers!!
And Becki...... She never even swelled up. She says it was mind over matter.... She's training for a triathalon, no time for foot troubles. Lucky her! ;)

Our Garden

I say our garden but I don't do much in it. I sat big and pregnant watching Scott plant it. I sit feeding the baby and watch him weed it. I watch him water it. I love it when he brings me in beautiful cabbages, yummy lettuce and just recently delicious raspberries! He has the green thumb around here and I am thankful for it! If you need any fresh lettuce or spinach come on over, it's ready!

Cabbage
Isn't it pretty, you have to come see it!
Corn, spinach, lettuce and carrots

Raspberries MMMMMM!

NO Camera

My stinking camera was sent away last week (thanks to Sarah for sending it). The flash stopped working but luckily it was still in warranty, yeah! I just got the e-mail that it is on it's way back, YAHOO!! It's tough not to have a camera with kids, they change so fast and have so many fun moments that you want to catch. I'll just have to store them in my mind and heart (yes cheesy but it's so true!). I'll try to post the older pictures that I haven't yet but soon will be lots of new ones.

Happy 4th!!!!
