Fiddle Festival

We headed out on Saturday to Weiser for the Annual Fiddle Festival Parade and festivities. The parade was great about an hour long with lots and lots of candy for the little ones. After the parade we headed over for some yummy "fair food". You know the kind, deep fried anything dripping with greasy goodness. Mmmm goooood! You know what I'm talking about! It was a fun day and we were sure tired by the end.

Here are just a few pictures from the parade.
This is Max not wanting to have his pic taken, crazy kid!

Grammy held Alaina through the entire parade,
they were both happy about that!

Swimming at Grandma's

It's finally warm enough to go swimming at grandma's house! We love to go each summer and swim in the nice cool water, sometimes a little to cool but it was perfect this day. We all enjoyed it, even Scott. This was Alaina's first time and she loved it. She stayed in for about 45 minutes and then fell fast asleep. What a sweetheart!! I do have to say that Max slept great that night too! There's something about swimming, so relaxing!

Thanks for sharing the pool Mom! We love you!

I almost forgot this, it's so cute and funny! We were trying to get ready to go swim, I was getting dressed so Scott was getting Allie ready. This is his first attempt at putting on her swimsuit. Look closely, it looks like one of those wrestling suits!
Aaarrrrrr! She's ready to take you down!

Much cuter on the right way!

What a silly Dad! Girls are going to be SO fun!! WE have a lot to learn!

Babies grow and grow and grow....

I thought I would share some stats and pictures of how Alaina has grown. It's fun for me to see how much she has changed in such a short amount of time.
Birth --- 7lbs 10 oz
20 1/2 in
2 months --- 11 lbs
23 inches
20 weeks
9 months
Minutes old
1 month
2 months
I love my little Alaina so much! She is such a joy to have in our home. I wish the time would go a little bit slower but I love almost every minute of it. (Let's be serious here, not every minute with an infant is joyous!)

My baby is 2 months old

.....and looking more and more like her brother! They are so cute!

There's Two

Lately in pictures Max is holding up two fingers. It looks like a peace sign but it's really the number two, because we have two kids now. He's so funny and cute!

Crazy cousin day!

Yesterday we had a fun cousin day. Becki and Carrie had to go to appointments and so I got to watch the kids. This is almost all of them, Sarah's kids and the 'babies' are missing. I was quite suprised that I got them to all sit down and eat without any fits or mass chaos. It turned out to be a really fun day.

The babies, so cute!

Happy Father's Day

This is just what Scott wanted for Father's Day, the whole day with his family. Plus a yummy ham dinner with home made crescent roles, mmmmmm! Very tasty! It was the perfect day!

Photo shoot

We had a fun photo shoot with Aunt Sarah. She's trying to get some pics together for a portfolio so she can start a little business. Aren't these adorable! She does a great job! We can't wait to go back and get some more.

For Sarah --- I put the pics on here that I love .... They are all cute even the practice ones. I love them all!

Another Baby Blessing, Baptism, Pigs and Chickens

We had a super busy weekend so I decided to clump it all into one post. Here you go....

This is sweet little Mary Elizabeth. She was born 4 weeks before our Alaina. We were able to go to her blessing yesterday. It was another very special time for our family. We've been having a lot of those and it's great!

This is our sweet niece Emma, she's Mary's big sister. She was baptized on Saturday. It was so wonderful and special to witness that special event in her life. I can't believe how fast time goes by.

This is a picture of our incredibly smart pigs. They keep getting out. It's driving me nuts! Twice today and once yesterday. And of course Scott is always gone. Side note: I've been gone for 10 minutes chasing the pigs for the 3rd time today. YEP 3 times out today! I'm ready for some BACON!! Chasing pigs with a five year old can be quite the adventure. If you want to try it come on over anytime, apparently they are ALWAYS out. The Wheelocks are getting really great at helping us, we love them!

And now for the chickens. We had 7 chickens. We got them from my good friend when they were just chicks and still cute and some what quiet. They're pretty easy except for the fact that our neighbor (not Wheelocks) complained and whined about the roosters. Now we have 3 hens. If they would just stay in our yard they would be perfect. It's our own little farm here, come visit any time!

Baby Blessing

We blessed Alaina on June 1st, yep I'm a little behind and we didn't get any pictures. Our camera has been a little retarded lately. But here are some pics of the beautiful dress that my Mom made. It is truly a beauty, she could sale it for big bucks. Very soon Aunt Sarah will be taking pics of her in the dress so we can remember the beautiful day and blessing. She was perfect for the blessing, slept like and angel and looked just as beautiful. We had lots of family and friends there, it was a very special day.

These are the pics we attempted, not so good. But there will be more!
