I AM a WINNER!!

It's not very often that I win something. When we plays games I always lose. When Scott and I

got married and we played games with the family it was pretty much guaranteed that I would

lose. Seriously I just did. It's weird but there you have it. So on Tuesday all my LUCK

changed! What a day! Rascal Flatts tickets were being given away on the radio. You

had to be caller #6. OH, my lucky ####!!! Why try? A bunch of busy signals as usual, I'm sure.

So I call. Yep, busy. So I call again, yep still busy. On my 6th call I say this is it, I'm done after

this it's my 6th time they have to have a winner by now. And by golly (yep I just said BY

GOLLY) they did! ME! ME! ME ME!!! The concert was FABULOUS!!! I loved it!

Scott, not so much but he endured for me and I love him for it!! If you ever get the chance to go

DO IT!!!! So GREAT!!!

(AND BY THE WAY JESSICA SIMPSON IS SO NOT FAT, CRAZY TABLOIDS!!!)(NOT TO BAD IN CONCERT BUT WHEN COMPARED TO RASCAL FLATTS... YOU JUST CAN'T!)

10 months old already

Our sweet girl is 10 months old today. It has gone by so very fast. We all love her so much, it seems as though she has always been here with us. She's growing like a weed for the most part and keeping us on our toes. She loves food but not baby food, she wants what you have. She's fiesty. I wonder where that comes from. She's sweet and cuddly. She loves, LOVES her big brother. He can get her to laugh and chase him all around the house. I love it!! She has us wrapped around her pretty little finger and we have no problem staying right there!

More things that keep me from blogging

There are several reasons I haven't been blogging lately. This family has been sick, sick, sick. Alaina has lost weight, which is not good. But we're working on it. But we are ALL healthy!! Yippee!

HEALTHY!!

I'm sewing. It's an addiction. I can't stop. I found this cute little storage box, it's so easy and CUTE taboot!! This one was for Max's teacher for Valentines Day. I loved it!

I got a new calling. Scouts.... It's been interesting. Fun but such a huge undertaking. There is a lot to learn.

Then, I decided to make a quilt. It will be so CUTE!! I thought that I would make it in pinks for my sweet baby girl. Oh so cute. We (the sisters and mom) went to JoAnn's and picked out pink fabric. So cute. I got it all cut out and saw something that I liked better. So Carrie decided, thankfully, that she would make it for Jennie Lu.

This is what I picked out instead, brown and blue. So cute! Love them. It will make the cutest quilt. Carrie also will be making this one because I saw another one that I LOVED when I was at the cutting counter. It wasn't cut yet so I'm getting better BUT. Won't it be cute!! I think I have commitment issues when it comes to fabric.... Yep I do!

Here is what I finally decided on. PURPLES and GREEN!! Of course my favorites. I don't know why I didn't start here any way. I'm going to get started right after I finish this......

This is a dress for Allie Ann. So cute!! My Mom is teaching me how to sew from a pattern, it's been fun and enjoyable. I'm almost done, it just needs a bottom. She's going to look so stinkin' cute!!! I can't wait to finish it.

This is some more fabric that I bought to make cute stuff. I just don't know what yet but it'll be cute!!

The funny face

Little Alaina has started making the fuuniest faces. At first it was just the squishy nose and eyes but now it's the mouth too. It is so funny! She does this funny breathing now with it. SO cute and funny! She wouldn't hold still for pictures, go figure, but here is a glimpse.

It's mostly Max's breething heavy but it's still cute!

Special Olympics

The 2009 Special Olympics are being held in our area. We were lucky to have to the torch just down the street from us and go to an assembly at the school. It was great to see some of the athletes and coaches and to hear them speak. It was very fun and uplifting. We wish them the best of luck. We know they'll have so much fun.

The kids in the gym were crazy. It was so loud in there I was worried about Alaina but she smiled the whole time. I guess she's used to noise between Max and all the cousins.

Birthday time is here

Scott and I had our Birthdays! Yeah! One year older and hopefully wiser too!

We had a fun time. For Scott's we went to dinner and a Stampede game, no kids. It was fun but we missed the kids. It's nice to be just the two of us but we were like that for along time. For mine the whole family went to dinner. We were lucky to get gift cards for Christmas that we saved just for these nights. All in all birthdays were great!
