We're here...

I have been so bad about updating here, I'm sorry. We are all great. The kids are doing great now that we're all healthy again. Thank goodness!! Here's a rundown of what's going on...

Max will be starting coach pitch in the next little while and is so excited, if you can imagine! He is a natural athlete and I can't wait to see how he does. I think I might be more excited than he is. Maybe... He's loving school and doing great. He seems to really enjoy math. He gets that from his Dad, I have never liked math! He's going through a stubborn phase right now. I'm hoping it's just a phase but we'll see. He does have Scott and I for parents!! He loves being a big brother and is so good with Alaina. He loves to make her laugh and he'll even babysit her while I take a quit shower. He's the best!

Alaina is almost 1! I can't believe how fast this first year has gone by. It seems like we just brought her home and now she's sportin' attitude. She lets us know when she wants something or doesn't want it. For now it's cute but I imagine it won't be so cute in another year or so. She's starting to walk. She'll walk from couch to couch and between Scott and Max and I. It's so fun to see her grow. She says Ma, Da and Ma Ma. That last one is Max Man, it's super cute when she does it! She loves him as much as he loves her. They play great together. It's still her favorite game to find him in the tub. To find him any where for that matter. She likes to reach over the edge and splash while he's bathing. Alaina is just a fun girl! I'm excited to see her grow...

Scott is good. He's been working outside in the yard like a crazy man. It's been great. He has part of the garden planted and the peas are up. I think he really enjoys it out there. He's out now fixing the lawn mower, WHAT A MAN!! ;) We swapped some things around in the yard and it's starting to look nice. He does a great job. Painting is kind of slow right now but we see some good things coming up. Hopefully it will all turn out.

I'm good. Everyone is healthy right now which makes my life so much easier and a little less stressful. I have so much that I want to do that it seems like I never get anything accomplished. For example I started this post at 10 am and now it's 3 pm... But it's all good and I wouldn't change it for anything. I love my life.

Scott and I participated in a fitness study at one of our local gyms. It was really fun. We went in 3 X's a week for 3 weeks. They gave us workouts to do and all that fun stuff. It was great. I was able to join for the next little while so I'm really excited about that. I love working out and getting this butt in shape, hopefully! It's time for this 'baby' weight to be gone! Know that I have told all of you I need you to hold me accountable.... Just a little help from my friends!! Thanks!!
