Max's latest...

This is a conversation that I heard this morning between Max and Scott. I do have to say that Max has been sick all week. High fever, cough, ucky nose, all the good stuff. He had been cooped up in the house for awhile! So, we'll just go with that and the fact that he's 6!

Max: Dad, hey, do you see that COWPIE out there??

Scott: Do you mean MAGPIE??!!??

Max: Oh yeah, magpie.....

I have to say that it was really cute! The things that he says sometimes just get us laughing! I love that boy! He's feeling much better now, thankfully!

I was hoping....

That someone would update this for me but no luck yet! I have been blogging alot in my head but it just never makes it this far. We've been really busy with who knows what.... But here are some highlights.



*** Some mean dogs ate our chicken. Yes, we have real chickens not the kind you find at KFC!! Some crazy loose dogs got into our yard and found it. Boy were they excited about that treat. We're still a little annoyed.... but oh well!



*** It's Spring Break for Max and so far he has the flu... Yuck!



*** Our sweet baby is 11 months old. It's so sad how fast it goes. She'll be walking in no time.



*** Our good friends moved to HAWAII!!! So rough! But we miss them LOTS!!! And we're thankful for their friendship. We hope to visit them in the next 4 years... hopefully!



*** Lots of playing with the cousins!!!



*** Being sick



*** Gardening. Tis the season!! I'm excited for it this year!



*** Sewing! I'm almost done with the dress!!!

That's all for now. I'll try a real post later. I'm off to tend to a sick boy and a SCREAMING baby.

Dad,Max and Dingleberries....

Max and Scott went out to feed the chickens, pretty normal occurrence. They come running back into the house laughing, pretty normal again. Scott comes into the kitchen and tells me this little tidbit. Here's how the story goes---

Scott: (after just calling Max a dingleberry) Max do you know what a dingleberry is?
Max: Yeah!!
Scott: What??
Max: (running away and laughing) YOU!!!

OH how I love that funny boy!!

Here's one I have been meaning to add for awhile. I had just asked Max to do something and of course he didn't. Scott asks him to do it about a second later and of course he does. So I say --

"Why doesn't anyone ever listen to Mom?"

Max without missing a beat says " THAT'S BECAUSE DAD IS SO AWESOME!!!"

I see now where I rank, not that I ever questioned it before. ;)

I love this little guy! I wish he would just slow down growing up just a little bit, I sure will miss him when he's big.
