By the way

If you ever wonder if your water has broken, as I did on Wednesday, I have discovered that you just know. We were going to be induced on Friday and so I got up early to get ready. As I walked into the bathroom I noticed some leakage and then again in the shower and then at 5:15 it gushed. I will never again wonder what it's like. It was perfect timing though, she was ready to come. The labor was was great and delivery wasn't bad either, as far as birth goes, it could have been worse. We are both recovering quickly and all is well. Our baby is here and we couldn't be happier. Thanks for all your messages, we love them! I'll try to keep this updated but we'll see how it goes.

Our family

Max said the cutest thing in the hospital. He said "Mom, there's four of us now." It didn't take him long to realize that we were now four and that she's ours. But mostly she's HIS baby sister. He's a great big brother. I love it!

I think my water broke.....

But it was just a false alarm. If you've had a baby you can kind of understand that but maybe not. I wasn't sure but I new something was coming out and I new it wasn't potty. It was interesting and a learning experience. But still no baby BUT I am at 1.5 cm now, so that's better than 1cm.... You have to look at the positive. Plus, the baby looked great according to the fetal monitor so that's good to know to. Just a few more days and she'll be here with us. Can't wait to meet her!

You guessed it...

Still the same as for the baby. She's still doing the splits and I'm still at 1cm. Fun times, fun times. I guess she'll come when she's ready.... ;)

Oh, my appt was a week ago so I guess I could be closer now, who knows. I'll try to keep you updated.

Friends Forever

Katie, Roseanna, Heather and Kathryn

These are three of my dear friends from High School. We were able to get together with all our kids and then go out to dinner. It was such a great time. We hadn't all been together for about 3 years but it was so fun how we were able to pick right up where we left off. I hope that we'll be able to do it again but Katie is moving to Alaska, that might be to far for a dinner, but we'll miss her.

These are all our kids. Four people and all these kids! I think that there's 11 of the little cuties! It was really fun to have all the kids play together, they actually all got along, it was great! I can't wait to do it again. It's like being with my sisters after not seeing them for along time.

I also have to say that most of these are self portraits. I think that explains this last one. Doesn't he look so chubby with that double chin. What a kid!!

Finally....

I found the camera. Yeah! It was up higher than I usually look, if you can imagine that. :) Here are some picks of the Easter egg coloring, it was pretty fun. Just the three of us.


Then we had a fun egg hunt at Grandma Roberts' on Saturday and Grandma McCombs' on Sunday.
All in all it was a great weekend spent with the families. We had a wonderful Easter and celebrated our family and friends.

Hmmm....

I can't find my camera. I know it has Easter pics and other fun stuff but I can't find it. Therefore, for some reason, I can't post about Easter. But I will find it and post lots of fun stuff. Hopefully!! It's probably right in front of my face and I didn't even notice. Oh well!!

Still no change.....

I went to the doc again yesterday and I still have 9 centimeters to go. It was a little disappointing but I still have about 3 weeks left. We did find out why my tummy keeps morphing into these really weird shapes. The doctor looked at my belly and thought for sure that the baby was side ways. But she felt the head and it is obviously down. So she did some pushing and feeling and discovered that the baby is doing the splits. Yep, the splits! She has one leg on my left side and one on my right. It's pretty odd looking when she pushes them out, it looks like two big lumps on either side of my belly. Weird but fun. I did find out that she's not to big and in a great posotion, which is good to know. So, wish a luck with the little gymnist! Hopefully it'll all go well!
