McCall Trip

Finally blogging you say, why yes I am. I got several requests and the kids are outside with daddy so here goes! (And as a side note, they are out killing roosters and enjoying it. Got to love the mini- farm life!)

So, way back in May we took this fun trip to McCall. We thought that it would be nice and warm and we would be able to swim and fish and hike and all sorts of fun. Well, we had fun but it snowed and rained and hailed... Crazy weather. But we still had a great time and would do it again.

This is outside our room. They were looking at some 'scat' and trying to figure out what animal left it. Love the picture!

The pool was great except that the temperature of the water was somewhere in the 70*-80* range. So cold. Dad and Max braved it for awhile. Max loved it when Scott threw him through the air.

Alaina and I enjoyed the hot tub. Neither of us could get in all the way but we had fun splashing around.

Max my fish. And yes, he is wearing Alaina's water wings for some reason...
Check out the sky. This is how it was most of the week. We had to use our imaginations but it was lots of fun.
Alaina was still enjoying the fishing trip at this time. It was snowing and windy. She was a trooper.
As boys always do, Max was loving fishing.
Alaina was so done with this fishing trip and I was right there with her!
Using his sleeve for boogers.... what a boy!

We had a great time and would glady go back... when the sun is shining and they heat up the pool!
